If you follow Kieran Mcveigh, former WSTR drummer, on facebook then you’ll know he’s been hinting at his latest project for a couple of months now. Although. And over the past week or so, all was revealed: Beach Head sees him team up with some incredibly talented musicians (Joe Armitage, Jason Blackburn, Jordan Hill, Jimmy Morris and Adam Webb) to form a new type of pop punk band. Their first track, Tumour, has a lot more of an indie influence than you’d expect. Maybe this is down to the more laid back vocals in the chorus of  the track,I don’t know. Whatever they’re doing is certainly paying off however as Tumour is a very impressive debut that really makes you wanna know what else these guys have got up their sleeves. They’re playing their first show on July 10th, supporting Basement at Sefton Park Palm House as part of X+Y festival. And hopefully we’ll be hearing a lot more from them in the upcoming year.
