Slam Dunk makes it return for the eleventh year, bringing out over 40 bands for three days in three major cities across the UK. The line up boasts the best of the pop punk, rock and alternative bands over 8 stages. With the return of familiar names such as Neck Deep, Less than Jake and Tonight Alive, the line up brings along new faces in the ways of Enter Shikari, Don Broco and Bowling for Soup.

Here are our recommendations for the day:

Prepare to be launched straight back into 2007 as the experimental rock band take to the stage as this years headliners to celebrate Take To The Skies’ ten year anniversary. Expect them to be finishing the night of with classics such as Sorry, You’re Not A Winner and Juggernauts. We’re expecting a huge crowd for this one.

Find them on the Jagermeister Stage

Known for their gutsy pop-punk tracks, Homebound are set to take to the Rock Sound Breakout Stage! at Slam Dunk. They recently put out a stellar EP, The Mould You Build Around Yourself, via Rude Records and have announced that they’ll be part of the massive US Warped tour this summer. So this and their UK dates with Set It Off and With Confidence should be the perfect warm up.

After seeing them with Moose Blood back in October, it’s hard to deny that Turnover are an excellent live band. It’ll be interesting to see how their chilled out vibes and dreamy indie style will translate to a festival atmosphere. They’ll be playing the Signature Brew Stage alongside the likes of Citizen and Sorority Noise.
